Eric F. Trump joined The Trump Organization in 2006 after graduating with honors from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., with a degree in Finance and Management and a minor in Psychology. As Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions, Eric is responsible for all aspects of real estate development and deal flow, both nationally and internationally.
From acquisitions and development, to sales and marketing, he plays a pivotal role in Trump projects around the world. Eric is also credited, along his father, Donald J. Trump, and siblings, Donald Jr. and Ivanka, with the creation and management of Trump Hotel Collection, the award winning hotel Management Company, established in 2007. The Trump Hotel Collection builds on the success of the flagship Trump International Hotel & Tower New York, the only two-time award winning Forbes Five Star property in New York City. The Trump Hotel Collection’s current portfolio includes award winning properties in New York (Central Park and SoHo), Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami, Waikiki, Panama, Toronto, Vancouver and Washington D.C.
Eric was instrumental and led the charge of two major additions to the Trump portfolio with Trump Tower Punta del Este in Uruguay and Trump Tower at Century City in the Philippines.
On a national level, Eric was instrumental in the development of Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, currently one of the tallest residential buildings in North America. Eric also focuses on the ongoing management of Trump International Hotel, Las Vegas, personally overseeing all aspects of the property, from marketing and sales to hotel operations. Trump International Hotel Las Vegas soars high above the famous Las Vegas strip and is known for its incredible views, expansive layouts and world class amenities, including its Forbes Four-Star Spa, The Spa at Trump and signature restaurant, DJT.
Additionally, Eric is responsible for the development of Trump Seven Springs, designed to be the highest end residential project in Westchester County, NY. Situated on the former Rockefeller and Meyer family estates, this 230-acre project will feature luxury homes, an exclusive equestrian facility and other privately managed amenities.
Since joining The Trump Organization, Eric has been instrumental in the expansion of Trump Golf – the Company’s world-class portfolio of golf courses. Alongside his father, Eric has worked to develop Trump Golf’s portfolio of award-winning golf courses from six (6) to fifteen (15), worldwide. Eric works extensively on course and clubhouse improvements, bringing the signature Trump excellence to each course, significantly increasing club quality and membership. On a daily basis, Eric oversees each construction team at all Trump National and International Golf Clubs to ensure that the courses and clubhouses are maintained to the highest caliber of Trump standards. Among the golf courses that Eric is wholly responsible for include, Trump National Golf Club’s in Washington D.C., Charlotte, Palm Beach, Jupiter, Bedminster, Colts Neck, Westchester, Hudson Valley, Los Angeles, Philadelphia , as well as Trump’s newest acquisition, the famed Doral Golf Resort & Spa, in Miami, FL.
Along with his work at the Trump Organization, Eric actively pursues business ventures and opportunities on his own, including his latest project, Trump Winery, a leading producer of award-winning wines, based in Charlottesville, VA. In Eric’s role as President, Trump Winery, he works in all aspects from winemaking and marketing to global distribution and sales.
Eric is a rising star in the business sector and has appeared as a keynote speaker for several international business, winery and real estate conferences nationwide. He has also given interviews to countless press outlets, including CNBC, Fox, NBC, Fox Business and The New York Post. Most notably, Eric was a prominent fixture on Donald J. Trump’s Fabulous World of Golf, which aired on The Golf Channel. He also appears regularly as a task advisor and boardroom judge on NBC’s hit show, The CelebrityApprentice. Recently, Eric was recognized by Forbes Magazine among their top “30 under 30” in Real Estate for 2012.
Eric also works fervently to aid children in need at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, and founded The Eric Trump Foundation dedicated to the same in 2006. Over the last six years, The Eric Trump Foundation has raised nearly $6 million dollars for St. Jude and recently pledged an additional $20 million dollars for the construction of The Eric Trump Foundation Surgical and ICUCenter, opening at St. Jude in 2015. The Foundation also sponsors a state-of-the-art Eric Trump Foundation Cancer Research Lab at St. Jude which was responsible for a critical leukemia breakthrough in 2012. Additionally, Eric serves on the Board of his preparatory boarding school, The Hill School, in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
