Eric Trump

 As Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions for The Trump Organization, Eric is responsible for all new project acquisition, development and construction around the world.

Alongside his father, Eric actively spearheads the rapid growth of the Trump Golf Collection, bringing the portfolio from three properties in 2006, to over seventeen today. With award-winning locations in Westchester and Hudson Valley, New York; Bedminster, Colts Neck and Pine Hill, New Jersey;  Jupiter, Palm Beach and Miami, Florida; Charlotte, North Carolina; Los Angeles, California; Río Grande, Puerto Rico; Aberdeen and Turnberry, Scotland; Doonbeg, Ireland and United Arab Emirates, Eric regularly identifies and pursues golf opportunities for global expansion. Additionally, Eric is directly responsible for overseeing the construction, management and daily operations of each golf property to ensure the courses, clubhouses and amenities maintain the highest standard of luxury, service and quality. Recently, Eric led the $250 million dollar redevelopment of  the famed Trump National Doral, Miami, the acquisition of Trump International Ireland and the 200£ million renovation of the legendary Trump Turnberry resort in Scotland, home to four British Open Championships.     

Eric and his siblings, Donald Jr. and Ivanka, are also credited with the creation of The Trump Hotel Collection™ (THC), one of the fastest growing luxury hotel collections in the world. Established in 2006, The Trump Hotel Collection™, builds upon the success of the flagship Trump International Hotel & Tower, New York, the only two-time award winning Forbes Five Star property in New York. THC sister properties are located in SoHo, New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami, Toronto, Vancouver, Panama, Ireland, Scotland, Rio de Janeiro and Baku.  Eric oversees every facet of the Trump Hotel Collection portfolio from acquisition and construction to marketing and sales.

Eric is also responsible for the global expansion and operation of Trump International Realty (TIR), the luxury brokerage division of The Trump Organization. From its flagship office on Central Park South in New York City, TIR has fast become a global leader in high-end residential sales, expanding its operations in Miami, Florida; Charlotte, North Carolina; Las Vegas, Nevada; Chicago, Illinois and beyond. Separately, Eric actively pursues independent business ventures and opportunities, including the Trump Winery, the largest winery on the East Coast of the United States and a leading manufacturer of award-winning wines, based in Charlottesville, VA. In 2013, Wine Enthusiast Magazine awarded Eric with its “Rising Star of the Year” Award, one of the most prestigious honors within the wine community.                  

Eric is a respected authority in the business sector and regularly appears as a contributor on CNBC, Fox Business News, MSNBC, Donny Deutsch, Neil Cavuto and others. In 2012, Eric was recognized by Forbes magazine among their top “30 under 30” in Real Estate and continues to be a prominent keynote speaker at business/real estate conventions around the world. For the past five seasons, Eric has appeared as a task advisor and boardroom judge on NBC’s hit television series, The Celebrity Apprentice. 

In 2006, he founded The Eric Trump Foundation (ETF) to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which has donated and pledged nearly $30 million to pediatric cancer research & treatment.  Recently, the foundation committed $20 million dollars to fund The Eric Trump Foundation Surgery & ICU Center, the most advanced medical facility dedicated solely to terminally-ill children. Eric is also a generous supporter of several other philanthropic organizations, including The NephCure Foundation, The Little Baby Face Foundation, The American Heart Association, North Shore Animal League America, Paw’s Place, Animal Aid USA and The Staten Island Zoological Society. In 2012, The New York Observer honored Eric as one of their “20 Most Important Young Philanthropists.”

Eric graduated with honors from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., with a degree in Finance and Management. He resides with his wife, Lara, and Beagle, Charlie, in New York.
