In 1984, The Trump Organization began its first foray into Atlantic City with Trump Plaza (1984), followed by Trump Marina (1985) and Trump Taj Mahal (1990). In 1985, Donald J. Trump purchased the historic Mar-a-Lago Estate from the Post Foundation using it as a private residence until 1995. In April of 1995, Mar-a-Lago became established as The Mar-a-Lago Club – today, it is known as the Jewel of Palm Beach.

WOLLMAN RINK - NEW YORK, NY

In 1986, after almost a decade of false starts, repeated construction related issues and millions of dollars wasted on the reconstruction of the Wollman Rink in Central Park, Donald Trump stepped in. Mr. Trump completed the job in less than six months and at no cost to the city. Since the opening, The Trump Organization has maintained and operated both the Wollman and Lasker Rinks and continues to successfully run these facilities today.

The Plaza Hotel - New York, NY

In 1988, Donald Trump purchased the Plaza Hotel, one of New York City's most beloved icons. Mr. Trump spent millions of dollars restoring and refurbishing the hotel’s interior and exterior with precise detail. In 1992, Mr. Trump sold the Plaza Hotel after restoring the landmark property back to its original grandeur.

The Trump Organization bought the Seven Springs Mansion in Westchester, NY, a 230 acre property owned by the former publisher of the Washington Post. The 60 room mansion was built in 1919 and is 50,000 square feet.
