Chef Brian’s Eggnog Tiramisu Recipe

Chef Brian's Eggnog Tiramisu Recipe

3 tablespoons sugar

3 eggs separated

6 ounces eggnog

4 ounces mascarpone 

3 tablespoons Brandy

1 cup espresso

2 ounces Amaretto

24 french-style ladyfinger cookies

3 tablespoons sweetened powdered cocoa mix

Grated Nutmeg to taste

Instructions:

Step One: In electric mixer beat egg yolks and sugar until well blended; pale yellow color

and thick.

Step Two: In a separate bowl beat egg whites until stiff.

Step Three: Combine mascarpone and eggnog.

Step Four: Add mascarpone mixture to egg yolks.

Step Five: Fold egg whites into yolk mixture refrigerate.

Step Six: Combine espresso, brandy, and amaretto.

Step Seven: Quickly dip ladyfingers into espresso mixture and begin to assemble: Layer dipped ladyfingers on the bottom of the serving platter. Top with one layer of cream mixture. Add another layer of ladyfinger, topped with a second layer of cream mixture. Sift cocoa over top.
