Trump National Bedminster Hosts LIV Golf New York

After a two-year wait, LIV Golf made its long-anticipated return to the New York market this month, with the world’s top players descending on the stunning Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster. LIV Golf New York marked the 11th event of the 2026 LIV Golf schedule and the third time the club has hosted the league, following standout events in 2022 and 2023. From August 6th through the 9th, the property delivered four days of championship golf, electric fan energy, and unforgettable moments!

From the moment the players arrived, the buzz around the course was undeniable. The par 71 layout, designed by famed architect Tom Fazio, has only grown tougher since its last visit — stretched by more than 125 yards, with new back tees added to the ninth, 13th, and 16th holes, now playing to 7,651 yards. The course, meticulously maintained by our team of agronomists, once again proved it belongs among the game’s most demanding tests.

From Thursday to Sunday, the energy on property was nonstop. Fans filled the Fan Village, enjoyed the festival atmosphere along the fairways. Members and their guests took in the action from premium vantage points around the course, savoring incredible food and drink while watching some of the game’s biggest names go head-to-head.

The competition throughout the week was must-watch golf from start to finish. Torque GC Captain Joaquin Niemann was the story of the week, going wire-to-wire to capture his ninth career LIV Golf individual title — extending his own all-time record — and his second win of the 2026 season. Niemann closed with a 2-under 69 to finish at 16-under 268, a three-shot win over Harold Varner III. The margin looked tighter than the final result suggested: Niemann and Varner were tied through 11 holes on Sunday before Varner’s first bogey of the day at 12 opened the door. Niemann answered with a 58-foot birdie putt at 13, then sealed the win two holes later with a 26-foot eagle putt on the par-5 15th. Lee Westwood bogeyed the final hole to fall into a tie for third with Scott Vincent at 9-under.

“A great feeling to have, especially coming down the stretch on how tough this golf course is”

On the team side, Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC claimed the trophy, edging a tight battle with Torque GC and Legion XIII to become the winningest team in league history with 11 regular-season titles. Paul Casey was the difference-maker for the champions, carrying the load as DeChambeau battled to a T38 finish on the week.

The week also carried major season-long stakes. Legion XIII Captain Jon Rahm clinched his third consecutive season-long Individual Championship — 2024, 2025, and 2026 — despite a rare off-form week at Bedminster, cementing his place atop the sport once again.
