Trump Golf’s Ultimate Course: Hole No. 1

Trump National Golf Club, Los Angeles – Rancho Palos Verdes, California, USA

11th Hole  Par 3, 225 Yards

In celebration of National Golf Month, we are featuring "The Legendary 18"—awe-inspiring yet challenging holes from each of our properties around the globe combined into one iconic course. The 11th hole is a beautiful yet challenging par 3 with 180 degrees of ocean views. This hole usually plays downwind with a narrow green from front to back. Distance accuracy is very important for this hole with big slopes and three challenging bunkers in front of the green. Trouble awaits behind the green with more hazards, including another bunker and out-of-bounds. The majestic Pacific Ocean beyond the green makes for some difficult decisions from a depth-perception standpoint, so club selection is critical.

Pro Tip: Best advice is to hit the ball in the middle of the green regardless of pin location to give yourself the best chance at birdie. If the pin location is on the right side of the green, be careful in that the green is sloped towards the ocean and putts can roll off the green if you decide to be a little too aggressive with your putt.
